Fire up your hybrids, Chevrolet Volt fans! The next-gen, 2016 Chevrolet Volt is just around the corner and General Motors has been showing us bits and pieces of the all-new electric auto to get you juiced up about it.

Although we're less than pumped, we've got a job to do.

Expected to appear at this year's 2015 Detroit Auto Show, the Volt looks like it will feature a much more streamlined design — it actually looks like a Hyundai Elantra from its side profile — that's a bit more aggressive and inspired by the Corvette, according to the latest reports.

But that's not what Chevrolet wants to prove to you just yet. It would rather tease its EV doing a little ice driving.

In the short clip below, I would hardly say that Chevrolet has put the all-new Volt through its paces; however, it is nice to see the vehicle has some agility at speed in the white stuff.

Now the real question is if the company has been able to do ANYTHING about the Volt's batteries losing their charge in colder temperatures...

The all-new 2016 Volt is designed to turn heads everywhere it goes--from the test track to the open road. And it's as quiet as it is powerful, providing an exciting and unparalleled driving experience.
