Jaguar's all-new XJ marks a significant departure for the now Tata-owned brand. Although its cars use to be classic pieces, it seems that the XF started the beginning of a new, modern era for the marque.

Now with the all-new big cat at play, it seems that Jaguar's competition is going to make the new XJ's job a lot tougher. But as TTAC brings up, that never really was the intention of Jaguar, was it? OR is that merely an excuse for a product that's just not nearly as polished as say an Audi, BMW, Lexus or Mercedes-Benz?
