Detailed Information About All Future Audis Leaked
An official looking document from Audi contains detailed information and on sale times for future Audis. Of course, not everything on the web is correct, so you will have to wait and see if it was the real thing.

Audi finishes 2008 of with the A6 facelift, RS6 sedan and Q5 introduction in October. The Q7 with the V12 TDI comes out in December.

2009 turns out to be an even busier year for Audi with the A5/S5 cabriolet and Sportback, S4 sedan and Avant, A7 Sportback, A4 Allroad, the R8 V10 (525 horsepower), and the new A8 debuting. The Q7 also receives a facelift. The A1 comes a year later in March of 2010. The Q3 mini SUV comes in 2010 as well.

Most interesting are the engine specifications. The S4 comes out next year with the 333 horsepower 3.0 TFSI. The RS5 will come in 2010 with a 450 horsepower V8 FSI. The A7 Sportback will debut the new 300 horsepower V6 TDI, while the S7 Sportback will come with a 394 horsepower 4.0 V8 TFSI. The new A8 will feature a 372 horsepower 4.2 V8 FSI and come with the 8 speed automatic.

forgot to mention that the R8 convertible comes out in 2010 as well according to the table. The V10 Spyder will come out before the V8 version.

Oh my god, that sounds like a bunch of incredible new engines--mostly very similar to BMW's! I can't wait. Any news on what six-cylinder engine the updated A6 will be using?

I imagine that they'll have a NA and FI version of that S4 engine for the low and high A6 models. I wonder why they decided to go with a new 3L instead of using the 3.2L. Maybe it's a completely new engine that uses more advanced technology like VVT? Still would've thought that they could've just used the 3.2L as a starting point.

I wish they would use a different engine for the RS5. Which one, I don't know. Maybe a TDI?

Oh, the 3.2L has valve lift. Makes me wonder about the new engine even more...

New A8 in 2009?

Should be cool, the current one still looks very nice.

This is old. I remember seeing this document a long time ago and it looked anything but official.

Should be good when you consider that the RS6 with the Twin Turbo V10 gets over 20 MPG combined!!

I have not seen these documents, but I know the A6 information can't be right. The A6 was not facelifted for the 2008 model year. It is highly unlikely that Audi would update it in 2009 either, because a brand-new MLP-based A6 based is scheduled to be introduced in 2010.

The A6 does in fact get a refresh/update for the 2009 model year.

I saw a ridiculous amount of super-nice cars today.

From Audi:

-Black S8
-Silver S6
-Gray B7 S4 Cabriolet (with 19" RS4 rims, so I thought it was an RS at first)
-And the most interesting, a black Q7... But not just any black Q7. It had a chrome grille just like the Allroad's, which was definitely factory-fitted. It also had integrated exhausts à la A8L W12, massive rims and some extra aluminum accents. It was going in the opposite direction so I couldn't get a great look, but I saw the front and back. Could it be a V12 TDI? It had no camouflage.

From Mercedes:

-Black CL63 AMG (gorgeous!)
-Black SL600

From BMW:

-Black E92 M3 with gray wheels
-Black AC Schnitzer 335i coupe
-Silver M5

From Jaguar:

-Silver XF SV8
-Gray XKR convertible

And, I just realized that every single one of the above was either silver, black or gray. Whatever.

The average price of the four Audis I saw was roughly $80,000.

The average price of the Mercs was $130K.

The average price of the BMWs was $70,000.

The average price of the Jags was $75,000.

Hm.

Don't worry, Audi is just gaining momentum both in terms of profitability and sales very rapidly.
