Detroits Three Muscle Cars Hang Out: Camaro, Challenger and Mustang
We can’t wait until Top Gear puts the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, Dodge Challenger SRT8 and the Ford Mustang head-to-head. While that may take a while (given that most auto journalists will wait for the 2010 Ford Mustang to debut in November), Detroit’s three muscle cars were recently caught running into each other in front of the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.
Motor Trend is claiming that the Camaro in this picture is their V6 model undergoing a review by their editor-at-large. As he was pulling out of the Hard Rock Hotel, a Dodge Challenger SRT8 and a Ford Mustang decided to show up for a rare gathering of the three muscle cars.

Yep!
I'm pretty sure that the Top Gear crew is gonna enjoy the 3 cars very much if they drive them the way the "correctly." A good analogy would be comparing how one would drive a Z4 M as compared to a Boxter.

Boy these past few years have been fun for auto aficionados, the horsepower wars, ultra high performance exotics and the return of all three muscle cars.
I hope high gas prices will promote innovation to keep these trends going and not kill the market again. I don't want to see us to return to the 80's, for a car guy they sucked.

That would be sick to have all 3 of them in black. Awesome!

The Challenger needs to go on a diet Fast. The Mustang looks good in black. The Camaro needs to come out before this retro thing gets old.

I Agree with GTR35 . . . We've been looking at the Camaro for years now. We've even seen it in a movie.
Its actually almost time for the Mustang body change and we have yet to see a Camaro on the road.

The Dodge Challenger is the best looking of the 3.

The Challenger takes the cake in the styling department IMO.

The Camaro appears the most lean. The Challenger is tough/brutish in a good way and the Mustang is still eye-catching. But I bet the Camaro SS, once we see it in person, will be the sharpest looking of the bunch.
