If there's one thing I've seen and dislike immensely, it's when a tuner goes over the top with its mods, charges an insane price for their garbage and then it makes the vehicle perform WORSE.

You know the saying, if I've said it once, I've said it 1,000 times. Yes, that applies here. You have to remember, the automakers are the ones who conceive of these vehicles from the start and have WAY more time and dollars to devote in an attempt to perfect a vehicle. A tuner, on the other hand, just doesn't have that advantage; however, there are a select few who partner up with manufacturers and are able to work in tandem with the manufacturer.

Now after getting a glimpse at Vorsteiner's FIRST image of what it has in store for the McLaren MP4-12C, I am thoroughly impressed. That's because it's P1-inspired changes are done in a very subtle way. Its wheels aren't painted gold and there aren't a slew of carbon fiber parts added just for the fun of it.

I particularly love the gunmetal wheels, which look incredibly familiar to that of the Lexus LFA.

What Vorsteiner has done here is essentially produce a car that appears that it could have come straight from the factory. It looks purposeful. The complete opposite of most tuner's look — an afterthought.

No specific details or more shots have been released but when they are, we'll get them to you!
