Did McLaren Steal F1 Secrets From Ferrari?
According to reports, the McLaren employee involved in the investigation of Ferrari regarding the receipt of technical information is Mike Coughlan, the Chief Designer of the Woking based team since 2002. The police searched the house of Coughlan and it's believed they found documents belonging to Ferrari. The Briton would have received the technical information from Nigel Stepney, who is in the centre of the investigation. Coughlan got suspended by McLaren as long as the investigation is running.

This is really sad.

BTW good to see Ferrari winning again.Otherwise it will be boring this year.
I even hope BMW and Renault join them.

I think you did an exceptional job, hiding Mclaren-Merc espionage. But the article below, posted two days ago... just proves your hypocricy.

Drama in the Ferrari spy case: McLaren linked

03 July 2007

Just hours after we reported Nigel Stepney's dismissal by Ferrari, it's emerged that McLaren's chief designer Mike Coughlan is the man suspected of espionage against his team's main rival.

Coughlan's now been suspended by McLaren after a police search at his home unearthed documents allegedly belonging to Ferrari. It's now thought that Coughlan collaborated with Stepney to illegally obtain confidential and sensitive technical material from Ferrari.

May I ask sth Autospies? Finally, What happened with white powder discovered in Ferrari fuel tanks at Monaco GP 2007 incident?
Was it a sabotage from Nigel Stepney (as Ferrari claimed) or Ferrari just needed a scapegoat to hide their cheating?

How is this the fault of McLaren? If a McDonalds employee shoots an old lady, should the McDonalds corporation be held responsible? Silent Power and Lexus are full of shit, as usual. Keep hating, morons.

Ecclestone announced that he insists Hamilton will not lose any points despite the ongoing story between Ferrari and McLaren over spy issues. McLaren could be docked points in the constructors' championship and/or be fined if the FIA finds any crucial evidence.

To honest I would never expected this from McLaren, who would thought one of their employee has done this. But I really doubted if he in it alone, someone must been helping him all this time before he got caught.

Willis, when you will grow up, you will realize that all teams are trying to cheat without get busted.
Some have "the Art of cheating" and apply it succesfully, some others not. :)

It seems that you have a tendency to forget or digest events selectively...

There are so many race immoralities and "technical issues" that does not leave room, but only for hypocrisy.

It is funny, how you avoid even to reference Toyotas brake issues... :) Of course that would be embarrassing for all F1 teams... :)

"Toyota, on the other hand, caught in F1, caught in the WRC; whereas Ferrari, caught in F1."

"the Art of cheating"
It figures... :)
Toyota is a bad cheater.
Ferrari is a mediocre cheater,
but Mclaren_merc is the Champion cheater.... :)

"Toyota, on the other hand, caught in F1"
Proof please."
There is proof that Toyota was the victim...
Italian court convicted only the ex-ferrari personel, because they used some data from previous season. But I am sure that Mike Gascoyne should have known what was happening...
TOTAL HYPOCRISY :
The fact that Mike Gascoyne works for Ferrari now!
If Toyota cheated, then Ferrari should have kicked, Toyota out by now.

It seems that Ferrari had set a death trap to Toyota.Ferrari didnt make it, but
in the end of the day, Toyota looks like a "cheater" in the eyes of public opinion...
