With only $999 down and a walk away lease payment of only $199 a month for 36 months, the 2014 Fiat 500e might be able to succeed where other have failed.

It is all about price, and while we all talk about gas mileage few are willing to pay the price to be green.  Previous entries in the market admittedly have met lukewarm responses primarily due to cost effectiveness or limited limited range.  But everything is about to change.

Fiat plans to address these concerns with a California resident launch of the 500e where after tax credits the 500e will retail for $200 LESS than a comparable gas powered 500.

Retailing at only $20,500 after federal and state credits.  Can we say bargain?

True to most EVs on the market the 500e is limited to about 87 miles round trip on a single charge, however  Fiat has teamed up with several national rental car agencies to  provide alternate forms of transportation for up to 12 days a year when needed.

Our Agent009 has just posted the first real life shots of the 2014 Fiat 500e and the extra special Abarth 500 Convertible as they took to the streets of LA in our exclusive 2014 Fiat 500e And Abarth Convertible Photo Gallery.  Be sure to check out the over 200 images of vehicle launch, presentation and surroundings.
