Early look at America-bound Ford C-Max
The current Ford C-Max was first launched in Europe back in 2003 and was treated with a mild facelift last year as part of its mid-cycle upgrade.

New prototypes of the C-Max spotted in Germany suggest that Ford is already conducting public road-tests of the next-generation model due sometime in 2010.

I am a big fan of the whole Euro Focus lineup and it's related models. They can't get to the US fast enough.

I'd much prefer they bring the some Aussie models over. I don't get why Ford only wants one sports car in their lineup. Look at Chevy. They have the Corvette, Camaro, and in a sense, the Cobalt SS and Impala SS.

So Ford is getting a Mazda 5. The C-Max is the Mazda 5 in the states, but the 5 has a sliding rear door where the C-Max is a traditional pull open. Either way same car.

Yeah like the Corolla needs a V8.

You continue to amaze with your stupid and ignorant comments.

MT, I am pretty sure Hachee was being sarcastic. Not everything needs a V6 or a V8 to succeed. This car will do perfectly well in Europe (as it already has) and should sell decently in the US.

MT, the Madza5 has picked up sales as gas prices have risen (4 cylinder only). And AFAIK there has never been a V8 powered factory production minivan ever. Chrysler's turbo 4 minivans from the early 90s actually sold quite well.

Lets hope that Ford brings these Euro models with no changes. Every Euro Ford so far has been bastardized out of all recognition. I do not see the other European makers bastardizing their vehicles to make them acceptable to the "Amercian" tastes, so lets hope Ford can resist this time.
