Editors' Most Wanted Vehicles for 2007

"Every year, the Edmunds.com editors gather to ponder that eternal question, "What cars or trucks would we most want to park in our garage?" For the 2007 model year our editors have once again scoured the entire automotive spectrum looking for their favorite vehicles. What they've came up with are the Edmunds.com Editors' Most Wanted cars and trucks for 2007."

Some of these cars like the Hyundai Azera should be dropped but comments like "a8= for people who cant afford the s or the 7" is pretty much as ignorant as you can get. All three (S,7,A8) are in the same class and are cross shopped for the most part.

People who buy an A8 can afford an S-Class trust me on that one. It's the most understated luxury car I believe and it's truly conservative. It doesn't give you the snob appeal but I guess it depends on the driver. A8 drivers know they drive in absolute luxury and the people who see the car knows that but they look no further after that.

I couldn't give rat's ass if Larry, Joe and Curly Moe drives any of these cars they've picked.

The only area in which the S beats the A8 is the front seats with their unique adjustments. The A8 beats both the S and the BMW7 becasuse it has a rust-free aluminum body and superior AWD system, and, don't forget, it offers far greater value. Once you make up your mind that you are going to commit $100K plus for a car, it really makes no difference what you drive but your choice reflects your ability to make proper decisions at that level.

come on i love audi. but the a8 is not an s550 beater. it's a darn good car but it just doesn't speak to the masses the way the s class does. and the s class does do a lot of things better than the a8. comfort is just one of them.

and as far as the quattro is concerned mercedes 4matic beat it in head to head testing. i haven't really seen an article where the s-class hasn't come out on top. that includes lexus bmw audi all the way up to rolls royce.

I agree with all the other comments in support of the S-Class over the Audi A8.

No biased with Edmunds, GM uses them in their ads. Glad to see Edmunds can't be bought. Now the real question: Am I joking or serious?

Skip the 7-Series, A8 and S-Class, and go for the LS.

Edmunds is sooooo biased...
