The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class has managed to score a 5-star safety rating during the latest Euro NCAP crash tests.

The adult occupant protection in the 2013 Mercedes-Benz A-Class stands at 93 percent, with 33 points and an average “Good” score for the head, neck and ankles and “Adequate” for the legs. The child occupant protection stands at 81 percent (40 points) and both the 18-month old dummy and 3-year old dummy have shown that the A-Class can be easily used to take your children to school. Pedestrians are protected by the 2013 A-Class too, where the model has scored a 67 percent in safety rating (24 points) and in the safety assist, the model received 86 percent (6 points).
