Exclusive photos of the upcoming Audi Q5?
This is the Volkswagen 'Neeza' concept that was shown at the Auto China show in Beijing but sources tell us it is a pretty close representation of the Tiguan AND upcoming Audi Q5.

I don't think so,the Q5 will be smaller and the Tiguan even smaller than that. Of course the Tiguan could borrow some design elements.

Tremendously ugly. Now if the Concept model is this ugly, what will remain till it cuts down to the production ready model.
For example.Pikes peak was a stunning concept,so Q7 even after loosing/cutting much design elements looks good, but this will be just a pig.
Concept Model = A Q7 with the ugly front and suicide doors.

THIS IS NOT A CONCEPT OF AN AUDI.
The Q7 is beautiful- have you ever seen one in light green? It's the most stunning SUV design on the road, and makes the Range Rover look dated.
THIS IS A CONCEPT VOLKSWAGEN.

That's simply because it has a BMW badge on the hood- if it doesn't, you can't see it, CommonSense.
You arrogant BMW whores are a dying breed. There are more intelligent BMW fans on this website that I listen to.

Oh and, the X5 isn't even close to the Q7 in terms of innovation. The Q7 is loaded with the newest technology.
The X5 is an awesome vehicle- I'd definitely consider buying one if we wanted an SUV. But don't try and play the innovation card. It's very well-executed, but it's nothing new in this class.

I'm not sure this is a good idea from Audi, if they can make it to be as popular as the SRX then they might be able come out okay.
But I fear this may not turn out like that. The whole CLS/Hatchback thing just doesn't look right. (and I know it's only a concept people).

I am not saying it's the Audi Concept, but describing the Concept.
This VW Neeza concept looks like Audi q7 with suicide doors.

I can't wait to see the Q5.
Hopefully it will look better than the POS x3..
My least favorite BMW.

And this is a VW Neeza, not the Q5.
No, it does not look like a Q7.
I compared both cars by putting their pics side by side and saw little similarities.
But this is a concept car, so the real product should look much different.

If it even reaches production.
VW needs an Accord competitor- something smaller than the Passat and bigger than the Jetta, at a price that's in between the two, standard with the 2.0T and optional wih the 3.2 (so it won't take 3.6 Passat sales away). That's what they need to garner more sales here in the US.

s4, i thought the passat wass the same size as the accord?
thats where it fits in the UK at least, same size as a 3er/a4/vectra/mondeo etc.

Well over here, the Passat is more expensive then the Camry/Accord, and has no clear class. It's in-between the Camry group and the Avalon class.
Maybe even if they shortened the Passat a bit, gave it a bit less standard features so it's more comparable to the Accord/Camry, and lower the price to about $19K for the 2.0T, then it would sell.
But that also poses the question of the Jetta GLI, which starts at about $21K if I'm right. What to do there?
Maybe it's best to leave Volkswagen as it is.

That is a VW concept, based on the Q7, which will go on sale in china, it has nothing to do with the Q5

No, I don't think it is based on the Q7, unless it says that explicitly in the article, which I didn't read.

I just hope the Q5 will have at least one Torsen differential. Audi needs to be consistent in what it promises with the Quattro brand. BTW, I drive an A6 Quattro and am fully satisfied with its performance in winter storms. Some smaller Audis do not have the same Quattro system as found on the A6.

I saw a Q7 the other day and, i agree with S4, it was stunning. i must admit that i was a bit disappointed at the design of the new X5. Way too conservative and it doesn't fit together that well. the front looks detached from the back and side somehow. the only thing UGLY about the Q7 is the rear and it reminds me of how similiar the Q7 and Touareg actually are.
