Now I won't go and say the 2013 Chicago Auto Show was a bore, but when one of the more exciting products being launched is the Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 Turbo Diesel, that more or less sets expectations, wouldn't you say?

That said, it is a very interesting product for General Motors to push, especially since it already has the Eco model, which gets the same mpg as the new diesel motor. If efficiency is the name of the game, that doesn't quite make sense, specifically when diesel is priced at a premium stateside.
