Ferrari Dino spotted on a dyno
Despite constant denials about the existence of a new small Ferrari from officials, new images of a prototype being tested on a dyno have emerged. Rumored to be the successor to the original Dino, early reports suggest it will be launched by 2010, and to solve the problem of limited capacity at the Maranello plant, Ferrari will likely outsource production of the car to Maserati. Funny, How it has stacked exhausts. I wonder will the German boys on this site start criticizing it like they did with the IS-F...

Still not liking them that much, but it doesn't look as bad because they are both round and at a 45-degree offset. Not oval and right on top of each other.

I don't think it's the shape, in so much as the IS-F has them almost right on top of each other (much less than a 45-degree offset)

The difference between the Dino's stacked exhausts and the IS-F's is that Ferrari design melts the automotive industry with seductive emotional style, beauty and sex-appeal is apparent and uncontested. Compared to the percieved (very subjective) style of Lexus design, trying to convince the industry for a fool that L-Finesse is attractive and somehow appealing.

L=Finesse = Design only a blind man can love.

I don't see why Ferrari would produce a Dyno when the waiting list to get a F430 is close to 3 years, and you would have to wait a while to get your hands on a new 599.

Ferrari is getting mighty desperate if they give the Dino the greenlight. Must be desperate to sell!!!

BTW, does Lexus fans have to comment on every single story???

Give it a rest!

Having a Dino definitely weakens Ferrari's curency. A car like the Dino should be left in the hands of Alfa Romeo.
