Fiat copies BMW, charges premium price for new 500
Europeans expect subcompact cars to be cheap and affordable. While it seemed like BMW would be the only company to be able to justify a premium price for its MINI cars, Fiat seems to think it can also charge a high-price for its new 500. Yesterday it officially launched its Fiat 500 copying BMW’s premium pricing strategy.

The big question is:
How is the performance?
How does it handle?
Is is comparable to the Mini in driving enjoyment?
If the answer to all of the above is positive they may have a winner on their hands.

You have to look at the price of comparable cars in Europe. Telling us that it costs (the equivalent of) $14000(US$) means absolutely nothing.
