Affordable and fuel-efficient cars and trucks swept the field of six finalists for North American Car and Truck of the year.
In alphabetical order, the finalists for car of the year are the Honda Fit, Saturn Aura and Toyota Camry. The truck finalists are the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford Edge and Mazda CX-7.
The winners will be announced in the first press conference at the 2007 North American International Auto Show, Jan. 7 in Detroit.
