There is only one illustration available, but it’s claimed to be nothing but the real thing. Or so reports CAR Magazine UK, which made the representation of the forthcoming Aston Martin Rapide lately. The magazine says that the computer-produced sample comes directly from Aston and previews the concluding form of this super-ultra four-door coupe. They obviously have another rendition on hand but are reserving that for the January 2009 print copy of CAR. From what can be seen, it looks like that the Rapide will stay quite true to the concept model.

CAR observes the front end has been altered a bit with the concept’s quad air intakes being substituted by an upper and lower grill, and a more creased appearance line going down all throughout the length of the vehicle. The rear has allegedly changed a slightly as well, but cannot be viewed from the angle of the rendition. The publication is also asserting that the Rapide will be propelled by a large 6.0-liter V12 generating 500 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, which should be sufficient to keep the large coupe move with agility.
