First Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport sold for $2.9 million
When Bugatti unveiled the new Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport this weekend, it said the very first model will be auctioned off at Pebble Beach through Gooding & Company. A video of the whole auction has popped up on YouTube and we can now tell you that the first Veyron drop-top has sold for a total of $2.9 million.

Not bad for whoever has that kind of money since Bugatti announced the pricing of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport at just over $2 million.

Bugatti will only be producing 150 units of the Veyron Grand Sport, 50 of which have already been registered to existing Bugatti customers - meaning there are only 99 models up for grabs which we expect to sell out very soon.

Same thought exactly.......

Does anyone know if they participate in some form of racing? I thought I read somewhere they either started or were thinking about it. I could google it of course if no one responds...

CRS2112. I was not refering to BMW cars, but to Amazinbimmer the person, who trashes everything but BMW. Especially VW group.

OK - so I agree with you 100% then. He is on another planet. I actually enjoy MT though- he usually tries to at least back up what he says. Wow - I think I am going to be deboosted for saying something nice about one of them!!
