Autocar have just had a first drive of the upcoming top of the range Q7 with its V12 6.0L TDI engine. They commented on the spectacular performance for a vehicle that weighs almost 2.7 tonnes and concluded that it raises the bar for diesel power.

We can’t wait to drive one when they arrive down-under sometime in 2009.

Whilst there are no signature go fast Audi ‘R’ badges to be seen and it is powered by a diesel engine don’t be misled that this is your average family school ‘runabout’.
