First Nissan GT-R tuner car revealed
The famous Japanese tuner Mines has taken to the Tsukuba circuit for a time attack in their brand new Nissan R35 GTR, managing a time of 1m 3.1s around the track. This places it in front of the Lamborghini Gallardo, which manages a 1m 3.6s time around the same track.

This car has a reputation to live up to as the old Mines prepped R34 GT-R model achieved a 57.7s time around the circuit. But we’re sure that this car has great potential. Apparently the car was run with the VDC in the R setting instead of turned off and the car’s traction control was affecting its performance on the day.

The Lamborghini Gallardo commands attention from the sexy ladies.

The Nissan inverted bathtub gets the attention of plumbers.

That's the reason why you're not an enthusiast, you buy cars to attract attention. You're a loser. You probably wear Armani Exchange, Oakley Sunglasses and NorthFace Jackets - because of the name.

BTW, you're only attarcted to the name - you're not evening looking at the car.

Like It or Loath It...

The GT-R certainly commands its share of attention both stylistically and on the performance front.

I've said it before,

I don't care if you hate it or love it. There is nothing south of 100k except a Z06 that will touch this car in a straight line or the twisties. You might hate its looks and that is very subjective, but you will be forced to look at its ugly rear in your 100K+ exotic in just about any competition of speed or handling.

Oh and if you NEED to spend tons of money on a car just to get the attention of the ladies, you are beyond pathetic and definitely need to work on your self esteem or social skills. I buy what I like, not what some chick might like, its not like she is going to help you with that car note....

So you think the 7:35 time around the ring compared to the Z06's 7:42 is just made up?

Interesting.

kaisersozedude, and like your comments is any more credible us guys here?

come on dude give it a break, we all know you don't the Nissan GT-R. Give it a break, Godzilla is back and will take it throne back. The Nissan GT-R was the first car to crack under the 8 minutes mark in the Famaous German track.

If the Nissan GT-R bug you that much, than don't read anything that refer the GT-R.

RWD is much better for drag racing in a properly setup car. But on street cars on cars built for handling AWD can give certain cars an advantage. For instance the R8 runs the same 0-60 as the 08 C6 but the C6 is a much faster car from any other speeds.
