Sold at an auction, the first of 45 limited-edition Lee Iacocca Ford Mustangs fetched $125,000 .

The rest of the cars, which were built as a tribute to father of the Mustang Lee Iacocca, will be sold exclusively at Galpin Ford in Southern California.

The 2009 1/2 Iacocca 45th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang gets a lightly redesigned front end, with inset headlights, and a more dramatic fastback rear. Completing the clean look are special 20-inch Iacocca Design wheels wrapped with Goodyear Eagle tires.

I think the car looks stunning. Car collectors like Jay Leno will pickup a car like this not some average joe. The car looks very concept and that's why it will stand out on the roads. The resale value may not be great but that's not the point of this car. Only complaint is it's power output. Why under 400HP? At least 500HP :)
