First official pic of the Nissan GT-R?
To answer truthfully, no. This is actually the new GT-R, because Nissan has dropped the Skyline tagline. However, this picture (above) is of the final production car, and it’ll be officially unveiled to the world on 24 October at the Tokyo Motor Show. Read Article

If it's an OFFICIAL pic, why is the resolution so awful?

Yeah, the is the official GT-R Concept pic. The cars that were at GoodWood were cover up, but they never had that deep crease at the air extractor.

anyone who calls this beast an ugly thing must be eating spinach, because he must have a vegetable brain to make such a comment.

This car is a beast of a machine, and for performance lovers, this looks as beautiful as scarlett johansson.

Everyone has the right to call this car ugly if that is their personal opinion. After all beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not everyone has the same tastes. I personnally don't love the looks from that picture. It looks so so, i have to see it in person and i will in 3 weeks. But i can tell you this car will be an amazing driving machine.

Well, in my opinion, Scarlett's not much to look at either!

But unlike the aforementioned actress, at least the GT-R seems to have the performance credentials...

Looks amazing... you can see the performance radiating from this thing. I don't think it's sexy, but it has presence.

It's ugly to those who are used to the bloated sausage design coming out of America and Germany over the past decade. I'm glad to see Japanese performance cars take the spotlight again. Japanese performance design is about aggressiveness and sportiness. One thing that absolutely nobody can deny is that the GT-R, LF-A, IS-F etc. LOOK fast just standing still.

But the 911 Turbo, R8, RS4, M3, M6, SL65 AMG, SLR McLaren, Cayman S, M Coupé, S65 AMG and S5 don't?

How can so much 'alleged' performance have been wrapped in such a 'insert distasteful word here' package?
