Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford Jr. faced criticism Thursday at the start of the automaker's annual meeting, the first under President and Chief Executive Alan Mulally.

Two shareholders spoke out against the former chief executive's re-election to the board of directors, citing the company's recent troubles.

Bill Ford responded that “this entire management team is dedicated to turning this company around.” He said Mulally was “the best person aboard to take us through that and I'm thrilled he's here.”
