Ford’s Europe CEO expects Kuga to sell out
Speaking to the press at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, Ford’s European CEO, John Fleming, said he expects the Ford Kuga to sell out when it hits the market next year in June. In an interview with Automotive News Europe, Fleming said that the demand for the Kuga could outstrip supply.

Would someone please tell me what is wrong with Ford? I feel like i am missing something. Between this, the Mondeo and the redesigned Euro Focus, they have got some good lookign cars. Why dont we get any of them here in the states?!?! Instead we are stuck with the boring 500's and freestyles. I dont get it.

I too wonder why it's been so long since we got any of the European Ford products. I can only think that they are not compatible with the US factories. Importing expensive (remember those workers are paid in Euros) Ford of Europe products won't fly when they cost $5-10k more than a Honda in the same class. Keeping US workers busy is the highest priority, even if the products are sh*t.

If you want a european Ford product in the USA, go buy a Mazda. The Mazda 3 is basically the euro Focus. This KUGA seems particularily similar to the CX-7, sans diesel.

dunno, the edge has the cx7s under pinnings. the euro market for fords are very different compared to the crap thats offered in NA. the kuga is probably just for the EU market.

have you heard of the focus st the euro market gets? thats interesting.
