Ford sees plug-in hybrids in 5-10 years
Ford’s CEO Allan Mulally said on Monday that he expects Ford to sell plug-in hybrids in 5 to 10 years. When asked if that meant plug-in hybrids would be available on showroom floors, Mulally said, “Yes. Sure.”

Check out the latest JD Power survey's before you criticize Ford quality. There are many frustrating thingsw going on at Ford currently, but quality seems to be one of the things they improving the most. How about the Lincoln MKZ earning top marks in the initial quality survey. What Ford needs now is some inovation, perhaps rushing the Escape Hybrid powertrain into the Fusion before the 3rd generation Prius is out would be a very small step.
