Either that or they have not handed out the executive bonuses yet. Does Matt Millen and the Detroit Lions get paid out of Ford funds?

Boss...

You know I could call that statment a conspiricy theorists rant...however to have a profit turn around in the US market of over 600million in one year and to say that you went from -282 million to a +100million difference in 1st quarter sales says to me that you must have released an entire new line up that was a huge success...which they didn't.

These numbers paint a picture of a company with one hell of a positive spin. I have the distict feeling that the 3rd quarter numbers will be drastically different from this. And for the reason you stated.

Must be the news months ago that Ford was reportedly in talk with TaTa motors to say Ta Ta to Jaguar and Range Rover. Those two brands are too expensive to maintain. As well those brands are too premium for Ford to be as a parent company.

How are they "too premium?" Toyota owns Lexus, Nissan owns Infiniti, Volkswagen owns Audi and Honda owns Acura, so why can't Ford own Jaguar or Land Rover?
