The VW Golf Blue will get similar mileage... so why is this so unbelievable?

Well, 52 mpg was translated in US Gallons by that site, and according to

http://www.canadiandriver.com/news/070815-1.htm &

http://www.carkeys.co.uk/news/2007/august/14/13802.asp

the Golf gets 63 Imperial mpg comparable to the 65.7 stated for the Focus...only the weight will make the difference..deffinitely not a crush by any means, especially considering that it's the same current platform being used for the V & VI.

I wish every nation would adobt the metric system instead of getting confused with different measurement systems. There is a case on record where an airliner almost crashed because of confusion as to whether it was refueled in gallons or litres. The metric system is totally logical in every way and a lot easier for kids to learn in school.

And I know, the Focus is gargantuan by comparison. LOL.

Just get a five-door. It's adequate.

A golf tiny? From the inside it's just as big as say an A4 or 3 series.

It probably has the same amount of interior space as the Lexus GS.
