Found on Ebay: Will You Give This Guy Top Dollar For His Prius?
When we sell a car we all want to get top dollar, especially if we trick it out to any degree.

While we can all appreciate the effort put into making this Prius pretty darn special. I have to think the seller may have gone a bit over the top when he did the video pitching it to us. Obviously he wants to sell us on it as much as he has sold himself.

So view his sales pitch and tell us if this misguided soul is a simply a Prius fan or just a fanboy?

I sure hopes he gets what he wants for it, but something tells me he won’t.

Enjoy!

Hey aren't the 08's already out? What!! 7K miles already? The sad part is a bank will only finance a percentage of the book value, not retail. In addition, because it's now a USED car, it's depreciated even worse.

Yes boys and girls Toyota's depreciate too, even they are Hybrids. But will somebody answer this question please, after all those stupid mods. does it still get the same celebrated gas mpg? No, you say. Well than his cars worth even less.

He's better off wrecking a totalling it out. Hope he has GAP insurance.

A (near) 40k Prius... Is He Nuts?

I've search the www far and wide, and there are simply not 40k (plus) in upgrades available for this vehicle, and very few of those on the market are performance upgrades, which are the only ones really worth talkiing about.

This vehicle, at that asking price, will be sitting for quite some time... probably for a few hundred years, at which time they Smithsonian might be willing to pay that exorbitant price.

I think he's referring to the total investment, because you're right; there's no way he's spent $48k on all of the mods.

If the mods were an extra $48k, this deuce just spent a large sum of money within a matter of months considering it only has 7k miles on it. How the hell could you possibly find $48k worth of extra crap for this car?

F1 stickers usually add 50 hp per sticker, in this special edition Prius they add 5 extra mpg

This is just stupid. There is no way he's invested almost $50K in this thing--and there's even less of a chance that he'll be able to sell it at that price with 7K miles, and mods. NOBODY WANTS MODS! This car is worthless...

And what is with his voice? Creepy.
