We can tell you that there has not been a car that has been more anticipated and speculated about, more than the next generation BMW M3. Finally, BMW has wet everyone's appetites with the launch of the BMW M3 Concept at the Geneva Motor Show. They're calling it a concept but there is no a person on earth that doesn't know that the production version will be virtually identical. Is it what you expected? Is it STUD or a DUD? Post your comments below... Photos in our 'best of breed' auto show gallery are going live as we speak so check back often to see the latest look at what's happening on the show floor. Not sure if they will be lifting the hood on it since it's still only considered a concept car. We'll see.— Agent004 (View Profile)

theres 2 things i don't like: the hood seems too aftermarket-ish, and i don't like carbon interior pieces. i think carbon belongs in structural pieces, not styling pieces. but that's all i can complain about...oh, and i can't afford one yet...— 1995e34 (View Profile)

I think the hood is only "aftermarket-ish" if it serves no real purpose. That is why I want to see that 8 under the hood..all bulging out of the engine bay! Also, it will really differentiate the M from the lesser 3 series coupes. I agree with the carbon fiber comment. BMW could have done better with the interior on the "concept". I prefer the brushed aluminum trim. I chose it over the carbon-fiber look leather in my '06 M Roadster. — BimmerFan (View Profile)

i would've tried to make the whole hood taller, so the bulge wouldn't be as prominant. but that may mess with the aerodynamics too much— 1995e34 (View Profile)

I am hoping the "Power Dome" will lose some altitude for production and they will fill in the vents on the hood. Holes in the hood may cut it on an Evo, but lets keep that off Teutonic metal. The Carbon Fibre roof won't make it to production for the normal model. There may be another CSL variant for Europe that retains the roof.I am not sure about the E36 M3 style mirrors. I don't think they will make it to production either. Nice to see three pedals!— AE86 (View Profile)

The car still has an understated aura to it.BMW could easily have “blinged” the car a little more, and I was hoping the fenders would flare out just a tad more.I do like the power dome on the hood and the two slits flanking it.And that looks like a carbon fiber roof a la M6 --- sunroof begone.SPECS WOULD BE NICE! Something…anything PLEASE!No DSG info yet?— weaponX (View Profile)

i agree, this car looks very stealthy. i think it needs a small rear spoiler to balance the back with the heavy front fascia. otherwise good job mr. bangle.— nembogt (View Profile)

Gorgeous exterior. The interior, however, looks like it was taken right out of a "kit car", I was trying to find the toggle switches. Hopefully, its just a raw unfinished interior because of its "concept" car nature.— golfer38 (View Profile)

better than the photoshops looked. I like the rear, not so keen on the hood bulge and scoops (a little more subtle, please) or on the interior carbon-fibre. Otherwise, looks great. But honestly, i Have to say I like the S5 more. Sorry BMW.— Rupert (View Profile)

Admiring how this time the M3 has a complete distinct look from the regular 3 coupe. Although I love the way he front bumper starts off with a solid layout under the headlights, the rest just doesn't seem to finish off as well, aspecially at the bottom. It is filled with too much bubbly space and needs some more agrresively designed sides like the previous M3. If BMW doesn't change this then Hamann please hear me out! Youd did a nice job with the 6 series CSL lookin bumper:)— SHOWTIME (View Profile)

Some people are complaining that it's overdone, others yet are saying it's too subtle.I think it's just right!A+, BMW. The E92 was a tempting foundation-- enough to lure buyers away from the last-gen M3. But I believe they've outdone themselves. They've made a supplement to the 335i that's worth the price. I might have to get one. I mean, don't we already know the dynamics will be great?— S4cabriofoxone (View Profile)

PS I'd get it with wood or aluminum. I hate carbon fiber, too... if it's not used liberally. RS4 has a nice amount.— S4cabriofoxone (View Profile)
