Its about time that GM saw something like this happening, now that they have started to make cars that people actually want maybe this is just the beginning of the rise of GM again?

I agree DaHarder and DWolff, they have an impressive new line-up, hopefully more to come to get rid of some less appealing models still around. Good job GM! Makes you wonder if this is part of the cause for the sales decline at Nissan and Toyota. GM is building realiable cars people like with style instead of the reliable yet stodgy appliance-like, boring cars at Toyota.

Cars that should be redesigned ASAP (in no particular oder):

Chevy Cobalt
Pontiac G5
Pontiac G6
Chevy Aveo (and rename it please!)
Chevy Colorado
Buick Lacrosse
Chevy Impala
Chevy Equinox
Pontiac Torrent
Cadillac DTS

That's about it. The Equinox and Torrent, while fairly attractive, should be redesigned to (as shown by more recent products) reach their full potential.

Otherwise, GM is doing a fine job. All the trucks/SUVs are nice, except the Trailblazer/Envoy, which are both being replaced by Traverse and Acadia. It is also advisable that GM brings back minivans that are actually competitive.

Surprising. Not because it is GM but because most people are facing the tax season and sales in the industry tend to lower. With GM finally showing its potential and making progress and not promises.

Huh?

I'm rooting for GM. They have put out a ton of great new cars. The ones that I listed are the ones that need to be redesigned so that GM can be in tip-top shape.

Its great to hear that American cars are still selling. Its all because they are making cars people actually like and want. I hope this trend continues and grows not only for GM but the Ford and Chrysler also.

Good job GM the malibu is a better car than the camry or accord, they make the best trucks and crossovers to date and if the volt is a hit they will ride this current succes back to the top.

GM sold 80,000 more cars than Toyota this month.

Just putting that out there.

GM definitely is on their way back. Finally it is product driven and not just a bunch of their famous trash-talk BS.
