Since General Motors' shares started trading again in November, it seemed that many folks believed it was the dawn of a new age. Its products were better than ever and the marque had seemingly come around. Or, so we thought.
Currently if you take a look at the latest stock price, GM shares ended the day at 22.43. That's a far cry from when it resumed trading last year above the 30 dollar mark and it's definitely far off from its highs at nearly 39.50 a share.
If you're into charts, you'd notice that in the past several months the stock has taken a brutal beating; however, in recent weeks GM shares have been gaining an itty bitty amount of steam.
With that said, you can trade this two ways: be confident that this is the early start of a rally and go LONG or you can enter in some SHORTS and hope you don't lose your shirt.
If you could give shareholders a BUY or SELL recommendation, what would you tell them?
