General Motors has extended its zero percent financing offer to July 18th, according to Automotive News. Previously, the program was to run from June 29th to July 5th (this past Wednesday). The program is offered on Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Hummer and Saab 2006 models. The six-year (72 month) financing applies to all models except the hot-selling Chevrolet Corvette, certain midsize trucks, the now-discontunued Hummer H1, the Pontiac Solstice, and the Pontiac G6 convertible. Cadillac is offering a similar program, but for 60-month financing instead of the full 72. GM will also offer financing as low as 2.9 percent on its 2007 model year SUVs. Saturn does not take part in the program.
