Just like the other General Motor brands, GMC also had its own product announcement to make, albeit not as dramatic. GMC is considering a dressed-up Denali version of the Acadia crossover. No one was surprised since there had been a Denali version of the Acadia’s predecessor, the Envoy.
When asked whether an Acadia Denali would rival the Buick Enclave, Buick and GMC general manager Susan Docherty said that the target audience is different since the Acadia buyer is a decade older than the Enclave buyer. GMC showed off a small, boxy concept that looks like a slightly butcher version of boxy car/crossovers like the Honda Element and Scion xB.
