At the finish line, the pert Peugeot 207 was named "gayest" car, the buff Audi RS4 strutted in as "straightest" and the scrumptious derriere of the Alfa Romeo Brera kicked butt for the "rear of the year" title.

I find it odd the Jetta is listed under the straight car category. Although, maybe I just consider it to be a "chick car".

The gayest car ever is the Nissan Maxima 2000, color = white, and with a front plate that says "M2M FEST".
You can see this car in Montreal.

Those stats are from NZ.. A4, 3 Series, Jetta, C Class are all "gay" vehicles.. Straight vehicles would be Mustang, F150, and I dunno something else that will fall apart at 50,000 miles ;)

If you think about, the gays have good taste in cars (except lesbians.. 1st Gen Rav4? Bleh)

S4, I remember BMW530 (or J. Cohen as his name seemed to be) replying to our questions. A couple of hours later, I visit the thread the again and it seems his posts were deleted.

I think he did get kicked off. "Why" is my question. For posting pictures of his new ride? Is that a crime now?

I did notice that his name was "J. Cohen" by the pictures. He seemd like a nice guy. I, too, am confused as to why he was kicked off. I've seen no posts by the name "CL550" at all. None.

I find this incredibly stupid and frankly offensive towards people with a different sexual preference.

So what if someone who is gay or lesbian? It's their choice and as long as they're happy in life, let it be.

Who comes up with these "gay car"/ "straight car" criteria anyway? What do they find "gay" about car A and what do they find straight about car B? Pathetic.

I don't campaign for gay rights, but I find this classification of "gay car/ straight car" to be utterly offensive towards homosexuals and lesbians. I won't be taking this up with this magazine, but I just find this pathetic.

for the record Bill,

being gay is not a choice. i find it offensive to hear someone say that i 'choose' to be gay. why would anyone choose to be a part of the last acceptable prejudice in the US.

i haven't been a member of this site long, but i've been offended SEVERAL times by the posts of some users on here abobut people being 'fags'etc...

i'm glad you are in a way 'standing up' for gays saying it doesn't matter to you as long as 'they' are happy...but i don't choose to be gay. do you choose to be straight? i don't think so.

Does anyone else find it fascinating that people on this forum associate "gay" with a negative assessment of a car and "straight" with a positive one? I found the comments on this thread to be far more interesting than the article itself. Tell me again why it's a bad thing that the BMW 3-series is gay?

i think all of you guys would be surprised to drive through a parking lot in a gay part of town. gays tend to be more informed buyers...we do our research. there are always lots of Hondas, Toyotas, VWs, Audi, BMW, MB and lots of big trucks. my partner drives an 06 Chevy silverado.

Dallasmr2, I presume your partner doesn't hunt in remote parts of the country or drive his princess (Silverado) off road?I am just synical of the chev being so watered down, I bet an all wheel minivan could keep up to a chev off road!
