I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

Geneva Preview: 2009 Ford Fiesta stays true to Verve
Ford confirmed today that the production version of the tVerve will use the Fiesta name around the world. The car, which was designed and developed in Europe, will hit the European, Asian, South African and American markets between 2008 and 2010.

Ford will show the new Fiesta at the Genvea Motor Show in March with a new 1.6 liter Ti-VCT engine that produces 114 horsepower. Ford will offer a total of five powertrain choices at launch from including a 67 horsepower Duratorq TDCi diesel. Completely redesigned and staying true to the Verve concept, the new model keeps the old Fiesta’s size, but is lighter and stronger.

And we will get it as the Verve in the US in 2010. Woohoo!!! A full two years after it's available to the rest of the year. Talk about ahead of the game. Too bad by then all the small cars like the Fit, Versa, Yaris, etc. will all be in their facelift/freshen up year and will exceed this car in quality and looks yet again. Good job on missing the mark once again Ford. Maybe by the time this comes over to our shores you will have fixed the Focus just in time for it to be old news.

You could have given us the new Euro Focus, but apparently thought we would be passe and ok with thie jalopy crap box you threw in our faces for the time being. It's like giving a kid some spinach while he's waiting for the ice cream man to come down the street. And now if you do choose to bring the Euro Focus over, by the time it gets here, we will be tired of seeing it in pictures and articles and how we were not able to get it for so many years that we lose interest and don't care.

If you took maybe 1/4 of the ingenuity you put into your F150, you could have plenty of other products. Too bad you suck at life though.

check leftlane to see the inside of this bad boy. if they SVTed this car it would be a real hit. but knowing ford they will just blow it,

i just leased an r32 for my commute, and if the performance was the same, id take this ford, based on looks. (i think i would at least)

I hope FOrd is smart and sends us the Hatch version and not just a sedan. Also what kills me about autospies.com.... not the site, but the people here, every other site this article has received a TON of posts, here it was a mere four before I posted this, now 5. I think this site has officially become the Euro vs. Lexus fanboy club. This is big news for Ford with an actually decent looking small car, and no posts. This is why I have to go to like 12 sites to get my auto fix! LOL! Course even if it wasn't fanboy based I would still go to a ton of auto websites, but still.... Lexus sucks! BMW Rules! Mercedes used to be cool, sucked, and now are back to cool.... there is some flames.... fan it fanboys! LOL! Sorry, had an outburst!
