Wiesmann, the Dulmen-based sports carmaker, is making available a series of special ‘20th Anniversary Editions’ models throughout 2009 as a way of commemorating its 20 years in the industry.

The recently unveiled MF4-S GT is the first of these special models and just recently the company released a teaser for a top-down variant called the MF4 Roadster and will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. The Roadster, based on the mid-level MF4, will come with the same BMW-derived 4.0-liter V8 powerplant as the MF4-S GT. Power yield is maintained at 367 hp (270 kW). Also expected to show is a special variant of the Roadster that will come with a more powerful 420 hp (309 kW) 4.8-liter V8 engine.
