The German supercar manufacturer has gone under according to insolvency administrator Gorge Scheid after he reported that the company’s mysterious new investor declined to fund the struggling enterprise.
A year after filling for insolvency, Gumpert faced the lack of orders which prompted the dismissal of the last 19 employees on site and the fact that after the March investment announcement and new model nothing had really happened and no money were infused in the company.
