HARTGE BMW 1.35i
Beguiling looks and sound, improved aerodynamics
The interaction of the visually appealing aerodynamic parts - front spoiler lip, roof spoiler, lip for boot lid, rear diffuser and side sills - brings about a significant improvement in negative lift at high speeds. Simply chic: The set of CLASSIC 2 aluminum wheels in the dimension 9 x 20? offset 40 fitted with Pirelli PZero Nero tires (245 / 30 ZR 20 front and rear). The 135i Coupe from HARTGE is a car that should not only be seen and driven but also heard. And this is possible thanks to a sonorous exhaust note, which emerges from the dual round tail pipes of the stainless steel rear silencer embedded in the left and right of the diffuser.
Other HARTGE accessories help make the car more individual. They include: A decal set in metallic anthracite, a set of carbon (silver or black) casings for exterior mirrors, emblems for the bonnet and boot lid and a HARTGE insignia (140 x 32 mm).
Sports interior
For all models, HARTGE offers an attractive 3-spoke leather steering wheel with silver (or black) carbon inserts. This material is also used for the HARTGE steering wheel cover for vehicles with BMW 3-spoke sports airbag steering wheel with (and without) multi function and for interior trim for the dash board, gear lever panelling and door handles.

Amazing performance, looks real aggressive, but the automatic transmission is so LAME in a car like this.

Looks terrible.
It's too overdone.
I like the stock version better.

I agree, it looks as though the 1er got a collagen lip job. The tti version is great.

How is it so lame? Have you ever driven the auto transmission?
There is a daily driver mode
Sport mode
Manual mode
Paddle shifters
How is all of that lame? My friend who tracks cars ended up getting the auto because of how fast it shifts. Dont hate until you have truely experienced the car.

2nd bimmer, please don't get so offensive. I'm guessing you don't know how to use a clutch?
It is lame because the automatic transmission, in my humble car enthusiast's opinion, takes away from the driving experience. Anybody can put a car into "D." Car guys know how to use their left foot.
And yes, I've driven both the manual and auto on the exact same cars before (most recently in 335xi sedans) and I would never even consider the automatic. Simply said, its dulls the car and the driving experience.

HSC, manual transmissions are over rated these days. Until a few years ago, you got an extra gear with manual, better fuel economy, and quicker acceleration. Now it has become completely the oppossite with many new cars.
Above all that, really no driving experience is taken away by having paddle shifters instead. It's just different, and starts to become more of a hassle in certain conditions with manual, that's all. It doesn't take a genius to know how to shift gears (an old lady can do it). I own a 6spd manual myself and I drive it brutally when I'm in the mood. I chose it cuz I wanted to try a manual at least once in my life and 5spd auto was outdated. If I had to choose again I would now get the new 7spd auto.
I'm not saying a 6speed manual isn't fun. But I don't wanna hear that a paddle shift auto/SMG/DCT, etc. takes away the driving experience cuz it's not true.

SHOWTIME, drive two identical cars back to back (one with 6MT and the other with paddle shift auto) and you will certainly notice the differenec. One is far less involving to drive.

does the auto know exactly how much clutch to engage? it may shift quicker, but will never shift BETTER until it gets a set of eyes to anticipate the road ahead.

If the auto can shift super smooth and fast at the same time, I really wouldn't be concerned with how much clutch there is to engage. The paddleshift Ferrari Scuderia is doing just fine at the track don't u think?
and when you unexpectidly have to brake into a slow moving lane and then accelerate into a faster lane, it will take longer with a manual, aspecially if you're in an unprepared relaxing/cruising position...that 1-2 sec delay gets u stuck in that lane until u have the next chance to switch lanes.
Once again, manuals are fun to have but they are fun in different ways just as paddle shifters are. That's all.

The word "tacky" comes to mind.
N54 in the standard 1er runs hot enough already where the existing cooling system can barely keep up... I say Hartage add on extra warranty on these just it case it melts down :)

Love the wheels, love the rear exhaust set up, but not a fan of the front styling. The rear is bearable.
