HOT or NOT: Is MB's SLS AMG Worthy Of The Throwback Treatment?

THEY TOOK A CAR THAT LOOKED LIKE BUTT AND NOW IT LOOKS LIKE ASS IMO....NOT A FAN OF THIS CAR BUT I AM A FAN OF THE PERFORMANCE.

B7FAN: I disagree....I love Asses and butts .....but this looks like extended turtle. I agree with the performance, no doubts it is great......but man, is hard to see that ugly style.

What a waste.

I adore the new SLS because of its historical connection to the Gullwing but this is a disaster. Aftermarket body kits on almost all exotics are just terrible.

Brabus, Wald, Carlsson, Lorinser, Vaeth, MAE, Renntech etc. can tune all the engines they want but should not touch the exteriors and interiors if you ask me.

There is an ass for every seat. Don't get why anybody would ruin an SLS with this tacky body kit.

This stands as a particularly misguided 'interpretation' of an already rather unfortunate looking vehicle.

The performance potential goes without question, but I'm starting to believe that Mercedes might have been better off leaving the 'Gullwing' as a wonderfully fond memory, as opposed to tarnishing its mystique with such a dubiously-penned effort.
