High-res images of the V12 AMG CL65

These latest shots show the ostentatious CL65 in sunny California, its ‘natural habitat.’ The car is powered by a 612hp (450kW) twin-turbo V12 engine whose torque levels have to be electronically limited to 1,000Nm to preserve the transmission. Read Article

I'm sure this vehicle does wonders for their EPA rating...

One thing that can be said is the the CL-Class is one of few truly beautiful Mercedes left.

Okay, I guess the new design of the CL is really starting to grow on me. It took a little while though, I thought it was too avant guard compared to the previous CL which I thought was more classy. This one though is really starting to have a good set of lines (though it may be the color and AMG body kit)

Yup, i saw one on sunday night. Lights made it hard to see, but heard it pull away and looked as it went passed. Definitely the CL63. One of the best sounding engines i've heard in a while.

The only way it could be hotter is if it was $90,000 less. I guess I could settle for a CL63.

Its a masterpiece, but I read a review about the car and it says the CL63 would be a better choice, as its lighter, and almost as fast from 0-100km, but who cares, the '65' badge gives you all the bragging rights!!!!
