Look at Infiniti's sale and see who is more depressed. Like a said before models are old, look at the beast the MDX sales, how many companies you think sold almost 6000 SUVS in a month with gas prices the way they are. They new Accord is a good idication of where Acura is heading and the TL will once again be the car with the most hp in it's class, just like the MDX currently has the most hp in its class.

Oh please. Honda better than Benz? What are you smoking.
Mercedes has designs that are 9723642 times better than anything Honcura has. Just look at the Ridgeline and the RL.
Mercedes also has a powerful name cache, unlike Acura which is thought of as a tier 3 brand.

Wait...he said Honda = crap...not Honda = ugly. I am sure luxuryboyzz is talking about quality here. And maybe your argument of name cache would be valid if he said that Acura's brand name was held at a prestigous level, Merc is held higher no doubt, but in my opinion Acura needs to liven up the brand. Honda as an economy car segment is doing fine as is...maybe what people should be saying is Ford = crap, or Chrysler = crap...but wait that is just common knowledge.

I don't know about 10 times better, but saying Honda = Crap in the first place is just uneducated. And if you want to say that the A, B, and R class are "Insert Retarded Number Here" times better designed than anything Honda/Acura...maybe you should stop smoking.

The Ridgeline isn't the greatest looking thing either, but it served its purpose and won Motor Trend Truck of the Year for 2006 and AJAC Truck of the Year and Best New Pickup for 2006.

Lets compare it to Mercedes Pickup Truck...oh wait..there is none...it is a luxury brand afterall.

Do you know that new 2008 Honda Accord is actually 3 inches longer than RL and 17hp (273hp vs 290hp) shy of the RL? The major difference is SH-AWD (90% Americans won't care for it). And the RL costs 35K more than the new Accord.
I have said it many times, Acura top executives should have been fired long ago... for their lack of market planning and for lack for V8, RWD and 6-speed tranny in their lineup.

The RL is a wonderful car its just in the wrong class, should be a full size sedan. 90% of Americans I think would perfer AWD over a V8,when the RL came out it had the strongest engine in it's class (ie lexus GS was running at 245hp at the time) but a year later was revised due to new federal ratings. The interior is top notch and overal it's looks aggressive.
The Accord is a differnt story but it's a redisgn it's suppose to be better, also a RL is only 20k more than a V6 Accord get the info right before you rant. I would have like to see Acura atleast try to push the HP back over 300 for the RL but maybe instead of a refresh which didn't happen this year they will just redo the car or introduce the real Legend back to the US.

i just leased my wife a 2008 acura RDX which she and i both love, i think its a great car and have no clue why its selling so poorly. gas mileage sucks at 14-15mpg but people who get acuras infiniti's, benz and bimmers shouldnt care all that much about fuel costs.
i think its a good bang for your buck and my wife loves it and gets tons of compliments ( unless people are just being nice)
as far as TL, it needs a redesign with what this web site loves more POWER.
the RL i think has a great interior but the image is tarnished forever.
they need a major redesign and make the RL a v-6 350 hp car priced at no more than 50k and then release a different car at 60,000 with around 450hp v8 rwd and awd.

Get a Lexus RX400h and you will never have to refuel it. It's also very sporty.
