Why can't we have things like this here. I swear we are so underprivileged compared to europe and australia when it comes to sensible cars that not only peroform but get much better fuel economy than comparable cars we heve here in the U.S.

There has to be some kind of agreement between the governments and the oil companies in North America to not allow anything too efficient into our Countries, seriously!

those models cost a lot more than the U.S. counterpart.
which is why a Euro 2.4 accord sold at U.S. as Acura to justify its price.
make no mistake, a entry level Euro civic (non-type S, Type R) cost about 30k U.S. dollar (check the UK price). would you spend 30k on a base civic?

I agree but still why the hell can't we get something like that at a reasonable price?

I'd love to see the euro civic in america, sans torsion beam. Who's the guy standing with the car? Yum!

I would like to see this in a five door! And the price is way too much! And if this is supposed to be a sports version it should be faster than the normal civics, My 2007 civic may have driven easily at 198km/h with room to go. A gas motor would be cheaper to run here in Canada, Diesel is around 20% more isn't it? You may save a few percent better mileage but would take 10 years to justify the price.

I'm not too sure about the whole whited out front lamps. Maybe if it was had black housing with some projectors it would look meaner.
