Acura CEO should have been fired long ago for "inaction".
No action taken in regard to product line. Poor pricing and
lousy product planning.

The MDX is nice. The RDX is blah. The TL is really old, the RL needs a V8 to complete and looks like a Honda Accord and the TSX is a Honda Accord.

Acura needs a complete overhaul for the US market. Actually, is it sold anywhere else under the Acura badge?

I agree 100%.

It's also sold in Cananda, but it's still NA-only.

Acura very solid machines, kinda like a good neighbors next door very dependable, but just once you would like to see them with their hair down, Acura needs to create a buzz in the industry playing it safe is killing them?

Wait. Acura creates a 10k RPM 2800lb mid-engine super sports car that does 0 - 60 in 3 seconds. *I wish*. But that would be some crazy thing that would create sooo much buzz. They could probably be the ones to do it too.

Well, that was actually the Honda NSX- only badged as an Acura in American and Canada. And outside of the car enthusiast community, it didn't generate much buzz. They needed to market it more. Look at what Audi's doing with the R8! People have said the R8 is the spiritual successor of the NSX- comfortable and drivable, but with amazing performance and exclusivity. The thing is, the R8 looks 1,000X better and is even more expensive/exclusive.

No surprise to see Acura down, derivate and bland Honda line of cars, know clue about their clientèle, and dismal marketing. Sadly the first of the Asian luxury brands is just an also-ran.

I just don't get it look at Infiniti's sale fro the month Acura wins, they won't catch Lexus than again nobody will. When the sedans are redisgn next year they sales will increase. Shouldn't you guys be on the Infiniti site there sales are up yes but still doesn't surpass Acura, AND DON'T GIVE ME THE PRICE BULL. MOST ACURA'S ARE PRICED EQUAL OR HIGHER THAN INFINITI.

It's the MDX and the TL. That is IT. Just like Lexus, with the RX and ES.

With Infiniti, they only have one high-volume model, the G.

Sorry guys, even though I am a domestic / german car fan, I still cant agree with you all on Acura. I like Acura, in my opinion, they're stylish and high tech.

And as for the poor sales figures regarding the RL (which is a sweet car), it just the American buying public's opinion of what "luxury" is.

Look at the Saturn Aura, a hands-down awesome everyday car that hasnt sold very well. Americans just have a certain mindset and are very unwilling to change.

I don't see anything in the RL. It looked promising... before it came out.

But then it came out.

It's so boring. I can't stress that enough. SOOOOO boring!

The RL is simply bland.

And it needs at least another 50-60BHP.
