When I saw these leaked photos on Road Race today, all I could think of was that I was still at the Shanghai Auto Show building, where all the clones were shown.

Man, this new Suzuki Kizashi looks like VW built a 7-series morphed out of a 5-Series and Passat!

dlin: doesn't matter whether it looks like a 7 Series or a Jetta or a whatever. The point is that it's derivative. And why is this brand even covered on Autospies? Who cares about these POS cars anyway? They're ALL rent-mobiles.

I wish these other brands would try to be original like Toyota. They copied the previous generation Seven Series so I believe that means they have a legitimate claim to copying future Sevens. Check out how the Toymeisters sexed up my Camry with that cutting edge bangle trunk reproduction! (see photo to the left)

I would've thought it looked more like Suzuki's Kizashi concept.

As to your question of it being a Stud or Dud, IMHO, it's a Dud. But I don't see much of the 7-series in it either.

does look like a Jetta to some degree, but it should have some good engines. A 185 hp four cylinder and a 280 horsepower V6.

If a Altima banged a Golf,this would be the child.It looks somewhat like a 7 series from the back door to the back tailight (overall shape) in the side pics,but not enough to call it a smaller 7 series.

I don't see any 7 series similaritires. If have seen the Suzuki SX4 sedan, than you would clearly see similarities. It's ugly but looks like bigger SX4.

Now that Suzuki are coming out with a bigger car does this mean they will compare this junk with the Mercedes S-Klasse?

Suzuki have a TV commercial that compares one of their pieces of junk with a Mini Cooper.

I guess Suzuki think people are taking them seriously.

Nope. No 7 series here. But as I've said before. SO FRIGGING WHAT?!? Every car has a touch of something else in it. It boils down to if you like the car or not. Many here don't. The truth is that many here would perhaps consider it when the price is announced and they see it in person a few times. I've owned a Suzuki and hated it, but that was a long time ago. I'd consider it again because times are always changing.
