Edmunds states "Why put down $30,000 for wagons that are over the hill and past their prime", when comparing the rest to the Elantra.

They even hinted that buying the Elantra Touring is a superior value proposition to the Base spec BMW 328i wagon.

Edumnds did not like the Hyundais conservative styling, or the electric power steering, and sport option black and gray interior: but they thought the rest of the wagon was so good, it didnt matter too much.

They loved the use of soft touch premium materials, price, fuel economy, fit and finish, Gauge cluster, Controls, the two tone interior option, and its huge capacity for space, which is larger than a Nissan Murano.

They pretty much go on about how great this car is, and there is so much value for money here that you might be stupid if you dont consider buying one. They urge you to get the 17 inch wheel and tire pakage. I will second that, however I would go a step further and also steer you towards getting the package with leather and heated front seats. They compared it to a well tuned Sports Sedan, and gone are the days of the Elantras with the Anemic gear changes. They coined the performance of the engine as "Comanding". I drove one and sat in one before, I totally agree, and dont think its just becuase Iam a Hyundai Fan Boy, guys. Its becuase I want everybody else to enjoy it as well!!!!

What do you think?
