After all the real-life spottings, image leaks and sketches, Hyundai has finally and officially taken the covers of the 2010 Hyundai Equus. Hyundai’s CEO of South Korea, Chung Mong-Koo, presented the car to a bunch of media and 1,000 VIP guests this past weekend at the Grand Hyatt in Seoul.

“This is the car that will elevate the Hyundai brand to the highest level,” Mr. Chung said at the launching ceremony.

Of course, with a design of an uber-luxury large-sedan we think that Mr. Chung may be right. Hyundai is planning to sell a total of 13,000 units in Korea this year with 19,000 planned for 2010.
