So, I guess those leaked images we shared with you way back in July were the real deal?

All-new spy photographs of Ferrari's hardcore, road-going F12 have emerged. Showing a front clip that's pretty much spot on with the three-dimensional, computer-generated images from what appeared to a Ferrari configurator, it's pretty clear this car has already been revealed.

Two test vehicles were snapped at Ferrari's headquarters in Maranello. One was the traditional red and the other was a dark shade of blue — Tour de France Blu or NART Blu, we do not know. Both were buttoned up much tighter than the yellow F12 we saw in the buff.

As of now expectations are running high. Predictions include a naturally aspirated V12 good for upwards of 800 horsepower as well as a nice diet program to shed weight in this super serious F car.

We'll keep you informed of the latest information should anything else leak out pre-show.

The specifications for the Ferrari F12 Versione Speciale are not public knowledge. However, we hear that it will be a naturally-aspirated machine, powered by a 6.3-litre V12 engine. It will almost certainly produce around 800 hp and some are suggesting it could use the HY-KERS system developed for the LaFerrari. It should weigh approximately 1415 kg thanks to a 100 kg weight reduction. Just 650 copies will be produced and should land on customers driveways in Spring 2016.
