Exactly. See how the folding hardtop destroy 3 series cabriolet profile compared to the coupe? The only ones that look right are the Mercedes and Miata.

The BMW hartop really messes up the cars looks unless you are buying black. I just saw a baby blue drive by and it shocked me how dam ugly it is

This is a good move for Infiniti, who will also be targeting the IS convertible that is schedule to for release in the near future.

That would make it the first ever skyline convertible in the 50 years of production.

but 1970toyotamarc i think this time they'll do it.
Infiniti has really challenged BMW this time more than anyone else and especially they r really damn serious to take on the BMW 3 Series with thier new G.

and hopefully the next M and Q will too to their BMW rivals.

Good Luck Infiniti.

Now you are talking, great move and you listened to the many dealers who wanted this car good for Nissan Corp. This car will have no bearing on Z sales, go for it Infinti, you are on a a nice roll world wide now, good luck guys

It would be a hard toss-up between this and a properly-designed IS coupe. It's totally amazing that this choice is even possible though.

Suprising? Not really. But it does look very, very good. They seem to be a lot more focused with this project than Lexus is with the IS CC, if they want a G37 CC to be on sale by 2009.
