Infiniti releases the second G37 Convertible teaser
Infinity has been teasing us today, revealing just photos of the second Infinity G37 Convertible which is programmed to hit the markets next summer. The shoots show some details of the looks such as the styling of the rear-end which keeps the lines of the coupe model. The new car will receive the 3.7-liter V6 engine capable to deliver 320 hp and featuring Variable Valve Event and Lift technology. The engine will be fitted with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed automatic with paddle shift, at choice. The car will first be seen this November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Sorry to break it to you, but the crowd that Lexus is targeting (55+) is not interested in driving hot/good looking cars. Thus explaining why Lexus/Toyota designs are terribly boring.

I kno. That means that Infiniti is not a good design. Because the desinger is drunk. HAHAHAH. Japanese cars are poorly desinged.

Smart people like me know what good desing is. I am a special engineer. i am not just a fanboy. i look at all qualities objectivly

BMW = For people who are poorer than Audi and Benz owners.

Man! I'm not a fan of the G37C look (vs. G35C) but the conv. looks awesome!

hahaha yea right. YOU ARE NOT A ENGINEER LIKE ME. BMW is the best. German cars are the best because they have the most heritage. That means they are the oldest car companies that exist in the entire world.

jsmith1914, don't make "us" engineers look so bad buy dumb comments like that.

jsmith1914, your comments are disgrace to all engineers so please stop making such stupid claims about your stupid self.

Engineers worry about quality and the touch of art in their product and not your fan boy stupid prestige crap; this is what the idiot marketing people fool idiots like you about. This G37 is a much better car the BMW can ever be; at least it doesn’t break down as much as your prestige BMW, idiot German fanboy.

Are you completely insane? Do you actually claim that Infiniti is more reliable than a BMW?

Infiniti is an unreliable rebadged Nissan econobox that has no place in a comparison with the phenomenal BMW. Only badge whores who want their Nissan to come with a different emblem buy this unreliable POS called Infiniti.

Of course this car is better than any BMW TRASH.

All BMW's are based on the same 1-Series Econobox platform. The C-Class outsold the 3-Series this month. BMW is in BIG TROUBLE for making GARBAGE CARS and fire-sale leasing.

hmmm i don't know what to think of the truncated tailights...kinda cool, kinda passat cc-ish. i'd have to see it with top up to make final judgement.

Agent Orange is right, BMW has nothing to worry about cuz the 3 conv is still about 10k more than the G conv...

This looks 1000X better than TRASH MADE BY BMW.

BMW's are ECONOCAR JUNK, that are bought by people with low IQ's and are poorer than Audi owners.

Face the facts BMW cheerleaders...

Haha Star, you win the "hypocrite of the year award". You always claim reliability studies like JD and Consumer reports are baseless when used to praise the quality and workmanship of Lexus and Toyota, but now you use the same studies for BMWs sake? you're pathetic. Stop being frustrated and irritable... just get that sex change operation you always dreamed of and be done with it.

TOOL,

I don't personally need JD Power to tell me that BMW is reliable but I wanted to show you that you are a complete IDIOT who doesn't have any idea what is talking about. Your OWN sources claim that Infiniti is an unreliable POS and you don't have any PROVE to sustain the contrary. All this Japanese = reliable type of claim is the result of mass brainwashing done for years in America. The sad thing now is that even when the SAME SOURCES tell you that things are different, your brain can still NOT react, probably from the lack of USE.
BMW cars are reliable, Infiniti cars are NOT. These ARE THE FACTS. End of story!!!

BMW is losing it's way. They produce GARBAGE for poor people who can't afford the real thing like an Audi or Benz.

Have to see it with the top up. BMW has been the king for so long in this segment but now at least you have a choice bmw 3 a5 conv (soft top) infiniti and lexus. This only means better products and price for the buyer so im happy

Wow, have to say that looks pretty hot, and I don't even like convertibles. It looks good, but I would still take the G37 coupe, that is one amazing machine. As far as BMW goes, personally I would take the G37 coupe or convertible over the 3-series. The G is just a better all around car in my opinion!!

You sound more like an "ANTIperformanceGuy". The G37 is utter garbage and every car enthusiast knows it. Econoboxes sold only to people who buy cars based on what they read in brochures.

The front looks good enough but the rear end has a funky look about it. I can't put my finger on it but it looks odd. It's probably due to the ever important golf bag compartment. Although it looks like you can only fit one.

Teknik = DoucheBag of the Century

He has such a bad case of BMW envy, and because he can't afford one he uses this site to trash them. This is what is known as "Projection" of one's own insecurities onto the person or objects they secretly desire for his or herself.

I would like to know just how many profiles "Teknik" has on this site, because after he posts a comment it only takes a couple of minutes for his post to get about a +10 boost and we all know this is impossible unless you have numerous accounts.

Such a sad person that has to log on and off so many times just to boost his own insecure ego..
