Once and a while you have to sit down, look in the mirror and say "Is it really worth it?" No, no. Not the Ike Behar tie you are currently wearing. We all know those are worth it.

We're talking about cars of course, silly.

For example, let's take a look at a modern auto question that has been lingering for a little bit: is the Bentley Continental Flying Spur really worth DOUBLE the price of a Jaguar XJL? To be more precise, the XJ rings the register anywhere from approximately $72,000 to $114,000 where the Bentley costs upwards of 180 heads of lettuce, give or take.

While the new Jaguar's exterior appears to 00R as a larger XF with a French-inspired, tacked-on rear end, its interior is where this car shines. It is a tasteful blend of new and old world with a hint of modern amenities.

Meanwhile the Flying Spur appears genuinely old school and it should only be piloted by anyone with a tweed blazer.

Neither cars can be considered lust worthy from their outside appearance but like some may say about their significant other, "it's on the inside that counts." This is shorthand for "yeah, they're ugly."

Ultimately, we want to know taking all things into consideration, is the Bentley worth it?

PS -- I'd love to have a comparable PR video from Bentley but it appears that the company is still stuck in 1928 or something and does not know what the internet is. As you can see its YouTube only has two videos on it.
