Jaguar XF caught testing at the Nurburgring
Expert spy photographer EwansKelly has just caught Jaguars new XF testing at the Nurburgring. You can tell from these photos that the production XF will be very close to the concept shown at Detroit recently and those rear light definitely have a strong hint of Aston. Unfortunately there haven’t been any interior spy pix yet, but with the production XF scheduled to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September some pix are bound to pop on the web very soon..... This car is stunning. I hope they don't screw it up in the production form.

Is it possible that Jaguar might have a new car that can compete in this market? They just might. I am intrigued. They will need to have superior build quality and I am not that confident that they will.

Old perception. In terms of reliabilty, the XJ only trailed the last-generation LS. The LS460's reliability has not yet been released.

Jaguar people keep saying that the XF will be more a more sporty car to compete with the 5 series.

Looks good, nice black wheels, what type are they? I know they have to be aftermarket.

I hope the production version of the Jaguar XF is going to be as beautiful as the concept version.

hope it turns jags fortune around...

Only downside is the amount of pro brit propaganda we'll hear from Jeremy Clarkson

I love it. It almost has a CLS/GS shape to it. Very sleek.

The CLS and GS don't have the same shape... don't even go there.

Don't see this is a bash- GS hybrid is quite sleek. But the CLS is the sexiest sub-$100K sedan on the planet. Over $100K? I'd give that distinction to the Quattroporte, probably.

Erm...I drive an XJ. I am 23 and I've had since I was 20. Jaguar is traditional and unfalteringly English so I would imagine this appeals more to older persons.

You are, of course, correct in many reguards though. I recently read that Jaguar has now taken the crown for having the oldest demographic, although the means through which that information was obtained is highly suspect in reguards to its validity.

No, the previous generation. I believe it was the last year before the redesign. That would make sense, December 2003-January 2004. I didn't actually get it on Christmas. It was a few weeks before I acutally received it, despite the fact they purhcased it in ...early December I think.

The XK is a win for all ages. I am looking forward for the XF production car. Based on the concept, the production XF should be a winner.

Love the XK. Only car in its class that can compete with it in terms of design longevity is the 6 Series.
